Health professionals at WRI Group have been at the forefront of providing medical and vocational rehabilitation through out Ontario and Canada since 1992. We are seeking specialized clinical social work consultants with a CBT background to join our team of Health Practitioners within the GTA and other regions in Ontario. As a social worker you will use a CBT approach to help and empower individuals and families to resolve problems that affect their day-to-day lives. You will help identify the source of stress or difficulty, make assessments, mediate between conflicts, offer various forms of counselling and therapy, and help people to develop coping skills and find effective solutions to their problems. Some of this may take place using webcam counselling as a technical device. Suitable candidates will have experience with personal injury rehabilitation and cognitive behavioural therapy and will have a background in medical assessment and treatment. You must have a minimum 3 years work experience and be registered with the Ontario Association of Social Work and have other appropriate accreditation
. Work schedules are tailored to your need for full-time or part-time contract work. Assignments include social rehabilitation counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy, life skills counselling, employment counselling, bereavement and grief counselling, family counselling, case management, medical-legal reviews of lost employment income and future cost of care.
